Patty started her insurance career in 1987. After 13 years working as an insurance producer and office manager, Mrs. Lares took the leap to open her own office as an independent agent.  

AA Lares Insurance Services was founded in 2000, using typewriters, fax machines, and good old manila folders, marketing her agency in the Yellow Pages, hence the “AA” in AA Lares Insurance.

In 2007, after attending a few insurance conventions and learning about new technologies, Patty quickly decided to start using a new Client Management System, HawkSoft. The AALI team of now 18 users has been implementing HawkSoft into their daily operations for nearly 17 years now.

Patty has served on the Mercury Producer Council, Mercury Tech Committee, American Agent Alliance Committee, and Constituent Council for Liberty, among others.

Today the agency has two locations in Orange and Anaheim, CA, servicing over 5,000 clients across 5 states.

Patty is an active member of her local community, practicing philanthropy in nearby neighborhoods, counties, and abroad in Mexico with causes such as Gaspar’s Angels Books for Bikes, AALI Scholarship for High School students, Breast Cancer Angels,  

When not volunteering, she loves hiking, walking her energetic cavaliers, cheering for her grandkids on the soccer field, and spending quality time with her family.
